History & Members
Under the Wing began 13 years ago as a joint program between consumers and staff at Vocational Guidance Services.  Founded by vocational rehabilitation professionals, we are dedicated to assisting people from all different walks of life to serve the community through animal rescue. 

The People

Under the Wing is made up of volunteers from many different walks of life.  Many of the people that belong to our organization are staff members or consumers from Vocational Guidance Services, where our group was founded.  We also now count amount our members a number of people from the community at large.  Interested in joining?  Please contact Emily for more information.  Our board members are:

The Animals

Over 300 animals have been assisted by Under the Wing!  Each one of them is very special to us and we feel fortunate to have been able to share in their lives.
